July Transition Meeting

The Weyerhaeuser Transition Team met today at the Weyerhaeuser Resource Room. Here are some of the highlights:

401K & Pension Fund

• You must be terminated to collect the 401K or roll it over to another 401K or and IRA. However, you may apply for a hardship withdrawal.
• The Weyerhaeuser retirement plan requires five years service to be vested.
• For more information you may contact Vanguard at 1-800-523-1188.
• If you are already registered with Vanguard you can go to http://www.vanguard.com/ to access you information.
• If you have not yet registered, you must do so at www.vanguard.com/register. You will need your plan number (091289) and email address.
  

FMLA/Disability

• Currently if you are injured you will still be eligible for disability.
• FMLA is not available while you are in layoff status. UPDATE
• Once the transition to COBRA is made this may not be true. We will keep you posted.
