Weyerhaeuser Three Week Layoff

Weyerhaeuser will be closing for a three week period at the end of this year. The official word came via e-mail:

"I have announced the planned market downtime at the Warrenton Sawmill. The Facility will be closed during the weeks of December 14, 21 and 28, restarting production on January 4, 2010. -Brent Czaban"

If you are a current employee at the mill consider using this downtime to come in to MTC and get enrolled. You are eligible for training dollars and we can get you set up to begin school in the Winter term. This can be done on a part time basis even after you are called back to the mill.
