Brent Czaban announced today that the Warrenton Sawmill will close due to the sale of the facility. The closure will affect approximately 94 employees (79 bargaining positions), actively working at the facility as well as 46 employees who were indefinietly laid off on March 16, 2009. A copy of the Warn letter is available for review at the Weyerhaeuser Resource room at MTC.
